SITE – SCOPE OF WORKS
“A reading of the environment reveals the forms of the project.”
The building is on the corner of the rue Du-Bois-Melly and the
rue des Pavillons in the Plainpalais quarter. This neighborhood
is composed of building blocks with narrow interior courtyards.
The new building replaces a workshop and an old wooden
residence. The volume aligns with the roof and facade of
neighboring buildings and finally closes the curious gap in this
circle of buildings dictated by 19th century urban planning.
The scope includes 26 apartments, a ground floor shop surface
and three levels of underground parking.
